Cél angol

Students should be specialised in the language related to internal combustion engines and/or production engineering, depending on their field of ineterest and/or specialisation. The course is based on CI 3105 and cannot be done without its scope of knowledge. Starting out of this, a wide range of specialised articles, charts and diagrams will be processed and interpreted. In addition to acquiring a general technical language competence, participants will be able to take up technical know-how in English/German and communicate about it.

Internal combustion engines: Structure of petrol and diesel engines. Strokes. Basics of thermodynamics. p-V diagram. Timing diagram. Engine-performance curves. Torque curves. Specific consumption curves. Mechanical engines components: Engine block, cylinder, cylinder head, pistons, crankshaft, flywheel, etc. Fuel-supply and air-supply systems. Cooling. Lubrication. Valve control. Supercharging. Vehicle structures. Production engineering: Engineering materials. Physical and technological characteristics. Classification of manufacturing technologies. Forming. Cutting: turning, milling, drilling, grinding, filing, etc. Cutting machines: lathe, milling machine, etc. Surface finishing. Joining. Welding technology.
